The sun is shining at Admiralty House in Kirribilli for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry’s first morning in Australia.
A bush turkey has been sighted on the Governor General’s property but no royals as yet.
And now, to today's events.
Harry and Meghan will kick off their tour off with an official welcome at Admiralty House with the Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove, his wife Lynne Cosgrove and representatives from each of the 18 countries participating in the Invictus Games.
Senior writer Helen Pitt is in Kirribilli for that event, so stay tuned for her updates.
After that, the royal couple will head to Taronga Zoo to open a new science and learning institute with NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklkian. They will also get to meet two koalas and their joeys, but won't be able to hold them.
Then, the Duke and Duchess will travel by ferry to the Opera House to watch a Bangarra Dance Company rehearsal.
The most exciting part of today for royal watchers will happen about midday, which is when the couple is scheduled to go on a meet-and-greet walk around the Opera House forecourt.
People have been gathering since early this morning, and senior writer Tim Barlass is on the ground there for updates on royal sightings.
The couple has another reception at Admiralty House with the Governor General in the afternoon, but let's be honest: we just want to see them pat koalas, meet the public, and hopefully spot a hint of a baby bump.
There are reports the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton, has arrived at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hosptial to give birth.
The Lindo Wing is where Kate Middleton gave birth to her three children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Pippa Middleton attended Princess Eugenie's wedding looking heavily pregnant.
The Daily Mail reports Pippa was seen smiling as she entered the hospital, while her husband, James Matthews, arrived carrying what appeared to be two overnight bags.
But back to the baby news for a minute, and congratulations to Meghan and Harry on their pregnancy announcement have begun to pour in from around the world.
British Prime Minister Theresa May tweeted her "warmest congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex" and she was "wishing them all the best".
Prime Minister Scott Morrisson, who is climbing the Harbour Bridge with Prince Harry on Friday, tweeted it was "fantastic news".
"Australia is thrilled for you both. Looking forward to sharing in the joy during your stay down under," Mr Morrison wrote.
The US Ambassador to the UK, Woody Johnson tweeted: "Happy news to wake up to on a Monday morning - congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex!!"
This is not the first official overseas tour for Harry and Meghan, who married in May, but it is certainly their largest.
In July, the couple went on a two-day tour of Ireland, at the request of the British government.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told AAP their Australian tour would be "one of the most publicised royal tours there's ever been".
"This will be their first Commonwealth tour, their first major tour abroad, so expect interest to be fanatical with the press."
There were rumours Meghan Markle was pregnant after she attended Princess Eugenie's wedding on Friday wearing a loose coat that was only half buttoned up, leading to speculation she was hiding a baby bump.
The rumours intensified on Monday after Meghan was spotted leaving Sydney Airport clutching purple binders, which hid any hint of a bump.
If you're wondering why the couple decided to announce the pregnancy the day before their tour kicks off, there are probably a couple of reasons.
Firstly, the 16 days of intense scrutiny would have sent the rumour mill into overdrive - God forbid if Meghan simply ate too much bread one day and looked a little bloated.
Secondly, the couple were probably kindly waiting until after Princess Eugenie's nuptials so Prince Harry's cousin could enjoy her moment in the spotlight.
Before we get to the activities the royals have planned for today, let's go over their baby news.
Just after 6.30pm on Monday, Kensington Palace announced the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were expecting their first child in the northern hemisphere spring next year.
Harry and Meghan were "delighted" to be able to share the news with the public, the palace said.
Their baby, whether it's a boy or a girl, will be seventh in line for the throne.
Good morning, and welcome to day one of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal tour.
If Australia wasn't excited enough to have the young royals in town for a week, just hours after touching down in Sydney Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were expecting their first baby.
Their busy 16-day tour involves more than 70 engagements, including public meet-and-greets, so there are plenty of opportunities for people to meet the soon-to-be parents.
