Ludhiana: As per the directions of Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Chandigarh, a new Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) has been made functional at Mini Sectt., PSPCL, Ludhiana w.e.f 15.10.2018. During the occasion, Er.Paramjit Singh, Chief Engineer/ Operation, Central Zone along with Dy. CEs/ SEs of operation Circles were present. This forum will redress the Grievances of consumer relating to wrong billing, metering, tariff related issues/charges of esteem consumers of PSPCL falling under jurisdiction of Operation Border Zone, North Zone and Central Zone (except Operation Circle, Khanna). This forum has been formed in addition to CGRF already working at Patiala, which will now redress the grievances of rest of Punjab.
Er. S. K. Arora has assumed the charge of Chairman of this Forum, whereas Er. Kuldeep Singh Dy. CE and S. Harpal Singh, CAO has joined as Member/Technical and Member/ Finance. The other offices/ official has also joined their duties. Er. S. K. Arora, on the occasion of joining, has stated that the consumers falling within the jurisdiction of New CGRF, Ludhiana, will be benefited as they don’t have to travel to Patiala for the redressal of their Grievances. The main objective of this forum will be to give speedy justice to consumers and to decide the cases with transparency and on merit.
