Get Real..
One can’t tell what is real and what is a fake, thanks to the social media
You know nothing in this world is real, everything is fake.
Why are you making such a pessimistic statement?
Look at the first thing – the News. One can’t tell what is real and what is a fake, thanks to the social media.
Yes, that seems to be a problem worldwide. The real meaning of the word NEWS is information from north, south, east, and west but that is all doubtful.
Even fake publicity is the order of the day when one suddenly reads about an overnight celebrity’s achievements.
Well now with paid news being a way of life, one can turn one’s self into a celebrity overnight.
Then of course there is the fashion business where everyone is fake right from the designs to the creators. One can’t tell the original from the copy.
That happens all the time in fashion around the world and many times in other businesses too.
Designers talk about great turnovers and sell-out collections when actually they are selling the 20 pieces they showed at a fashion week.
They probably say that as an ego boost since they want to present a fake success story of their work.
Then we have the beauty business where there are bottle blonds and Botox beauties. None of them are real.
Well the beauty business sells aspirations so that is expected.
In the film business, one never knows how successful a film was, since box office figures are inflated.
Yes, that is so right. So-called big movie grossers sometimes were shown to empty theatres.
When it comes to gossip, now it is all fake spread by the PR persons regarding Bollywood stars that want to stay in the limelight by hook or by crook.
Yes, that is where the most fake news is written and the poor gullible people tend to believe it as the gospel truth.
In other walks of life too things are never real. In real estate, you don’t know what is the correct size of the flat you are buying.
That is sad since one is putting hard earned money into it.
Even the food we eat seems to be fake. There are things like plastic rice and diluted milk.
You are right but that is so wrong and dangerous.
When it comes to jewellery the fakes are the most popular. One never knows what the jeweller is selling you – diamonds or glass pieces.
That is so very dishonest; I can’t understand how so-called reputed jewellers can do this?
But the worst is the medical profession where the health guardians end up being destroyers by giving medicines that are not needed or the wrong ones.
That is really dangerous.
So what is real in life these days if everything round us is fake?
It’s up to you to sift the wheat from the chaff and believe what is real and junk the fakes.
