CBA confirms Docherty as chief financial officer
Commonwealth Bank has made permanent the appointment of Alan Docherty as chief financial officer.
Mr Docherty, who was previously the CFO of institutional banking and markets, became acting CFO in May, when Rob Jesudason resigned.
CBA chief executive officer Matt Comyn said the appointment followed a thorough global and local search for the role.
The appointment follows a number of changes to CBA's executive leadership team, including the appointment of Pascal Boillat as group executive enterprise services and chief information officer this month.
Nigel Williams will join the bank on November 5 as chief risk officer, when David Cohen assumes the role of deputy CEO.
