Nine flats targeted in Bavdhan area

Pune: Unidentified burglars broke into 9 houses in three societies on Saturday night in Bavdhan. As per the Hinjawadi police, Chetan Barde of Preksha Vihar Society lodged a complaint in this regard. The police said most of the flats targeted by the burglars were locked and the incident occurred after 10 pm.

Barde told the police that ornaments worth Rs 7.3 lakh was stolen from his house. Three more flats in Preksha Vihar Society were targeted. Similarly, burglars targeted some more flats in Royal Twins Housing Society, Pinnacle Gulmohar Society and Padmashree Classic Society.
