Three cops in ACB net
tnn | Oct 16, 2018, 04:00 ISTRajkot: Three cops were caught red-handed by the anti-corruption bureau (ACB) officials while accepting Rs 50,000 bribe at GG Hospital in Jamnagar on Monday evening.
The ACB officials said all the accused were with the Sikka police station. They were identified as sub-inspector Sanjay Mehta and head constables — Dinesh Makwana and Hasmukh Teraiya.
“The complainant is into transportation business. The accused had asked for bribe to allow him to ply overloaded trucks from Sikka to Jamnagar. After the complainant approached us, we laid a trap and caught the accused accepting bribe,” Surendranagar ACB inspector M B Jani said.
