2019 Chevrolet Blazer Starts From $30k, Tops Out At Almost $49,000

The all-new 2019 Chevrolet Blazer may start at $29,995, but those looking to purchase a high-end model will have to spend much more than that, according to a Cars Direct report.

The Blazer range starts with the ‘L’ trim level, which is indeed priced at a reasonable $29,995 but it’s probable that most buyers will want a little more than what the Blazer L offers.

Sitting above the L in the range is the 1LT, starting at $33,495 including all destination and delivery fees. Like the base model, the Blazer 1LT features a naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine delivering 193 hp and 188 lb-ft (254 Nm) of torque.

Those looking for more grunt can opt for the Blazer 2LT, priced from $34,495 and utilizing a 3.6-liter V6 pumping out 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can option an all-wheel drive system for $2700.

Next in the range is the Blazer RS, a variant most similar to Ford’s $43,350 Edge ST. On paper, the RS sounds a bargain at $41,795, but that’s because it comes with front-wheel drive as standard rather than all-wheel drive like the Ford. The Blazer RS starting price rises to $44,695 the moment buyers tick the box for all-wheel drive. Another option for the RS is the $3575 Driver Confidence II Package.

The final Blazer offered is the Premier. This model starts at $43,895 and can be optioned with the Driver Confidence II Package also, now priced at $2165. When all-wheel drive is added, this brings the high-end Blazer Premier’s price up to $48,960.

All in all, these prices make the Blazer slightly more expensive than the Nissan Murano and Ford Edge, two of the models those in the market for a new SUV might shortlist alongside the Chevy.
