For Almost $24k, Carlex Will Do This To Your Volkswagen T6

We don’t know if there is a market out there for tuned vans, and how big it might be, but Carlex Design has gone ahead and created a a bespoke version of the Volkswagen T6.

Unveiled last week, the tuning company has just released a new image gallery and a price tag for the entire bundle of upgrades: €20,803.85 in Germany, tax included, which equals to $23,881.3 at today’s exchange rates, for the two-seat version.

In return for paying the steep price, Carlex Design will equip your Transporter with a new exterior body kit that includes reworked bumpers on both ends, different side skirts and a roof-mounted spoiler. Joining them are rubber arch extensions, quad exhaust system and 20 mm (0.8 in) lowering suspension kit.

Elsewhere, the van has received some bright yellow updates, decals and a set of 20-inch alloy wheels, called Cades Kratos, wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. The ‘limited edition’ plaque rounds up the list of updates on the outside.

Inside, the tuner, which collaborated with American artist Jeral Tidwell for creating this special Volkswagen T6, has added black leather and Alcantara trim adorned with grey and yellow graphics, and some yellow stitching as well, which is also visible on the leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel.
