Woman's gold chain snatched

Picture used for representational purpose onlyKANPUR: A woman commuting on an E-rickshaw was robbed of her gold chain by an unidentified motorcycle-borne person in Double Puliya area under the limits of Kakadeo police station on Friday afternoon. Anamika Mishra of Roshan Nagar, along with her sister-in-law, was on returning from Mariyampur hospital when a motorcycle-borne snatched her chain and escaped.
SHO, Kakadeo Rajiv Singh said a case has been registered. "We have the description of the accused provided by the women. The search operation is underway with the help of CCTV footage rom a nearby fuel station," he added.
