Suzlon Energy and CLP India in an agreement will be divesting 49 per cent stake in two of its solar projects of 50 MW and 20 MW in Dhule, Maharashtra. However, the deal value is not disclosed by the companies. Besides its existing two wind energy projects in the state, CLP will be entering the solar segment with these two projects. In the two of the projects, the company has had the option to acquire the balance of 51 per cent stake. CLP will pick 49 per cent stake in Gale Solarfarms and Tornado Solarfarms which are the two special purpose vehicles holding the assets in Maharashtra, as per the agreement. Rs 4.115 per unit for 20 MW and Rs 3.66 per unit for 50 MW, both the projects have a power purchase agreement at a fixed tariff for 25 years.
