Chris Costa rushed for two touchdowns and Case finished its South Coast Conference Gold (small school) schedule undefeated and untied by rolling past Wareham 28-8 on Friday night at Spillane Field.

The Cardinals (6-0, 4-0) scored the game's first four touchdowns, with Mr. Automatic, placekicker Jared Rebello, going 4-for-4 on extra points. He is 22-for-22 for the season.

Quarterback Danny Silva gained 92 yards on just five rushes and his effort was highlighted by a 39-yard touchdown run for a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.

Fullback Ty Couto rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on just six carries. His TD run went for five yards and made it 28-0 in the third quarter.

Costa gained 68 yars on 12 carries, and his touchdown runs of 12 yards (first quarter) and five yards (second quarter) left Case ahead 14-0.

Teammate Logan Sherratt had an interception.

Wareham (0-6, 0-4 SCC) scored in the fourth quarter on an eight-yard pass from Isaac Pinheiro to Henry Jones and Rakeem Jackson's conversion run.

Case will host SCC Blue (large schools) champion Old Rochester in the league championship game next Friday.

Ponaganset 35, Tiverton 32: At Ponaganset, the Tigers (4-2) suffered their second close Rhode Island Division IV loss.

Logan Beattie and Dan Garde both caught two touchdown passes for Tiverton. Nate Upchurch rushed for a touchdown and Matt Potvin kicked two extra points.
