Lamborghini Driver Rear-Ends Pickup, Abandons It And Flees In Mercedes

A Lamborghini Huracan driver in Miami, Florida has been caught on a security camera rear-ending a pickup truck and fleeing the scene.

Local 10 ABC News reports that at roughly 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, a Miami Beach firefighter was travelling to work in his black pickup.

As he slowly approached a red light at an intersection, he was violently shunted forward by a blacked-out Lamborghini Huracan Spyder. Both the driver and passenger of the Lamborghini quickly jumped out of the car and run to the sidewalk, standing behind a black S-Class that was driving alongside them before the crash. They then jumped in the Merc and fled the scene!

Speaking to local media, an employee of a nearby shop, Tee Wilson, said the accident was bizarre.

“That was really crazy. A Lamborghini is like a $300,000 car, how can you just leave it there,” she said.

Unsurprisingly, the full-size pickup truck was hardly damaged by the crash. On the other hand, the Lamborghini sustained some hefty damage to its front end. Images taken on the scene show that much of the front bumper has been ruined, the hood has been torn open, and some damage may have been done to the vehicle’s crash structure. Both the front passenger and front driver airbags were deployed in the crash.

Police say that they took the Lamborghini away from the scene to use as evidence. It remains unclear why the driver and passenger fled the scene, and to whose name the Huracan was registered, but if they’re caught, they may face some serious consequences.
