West Indies were all out for 311 in their first innings on day two of the second and final test against India on Saturday.

Overnight batsman Roston Chase completed his fourth test century, topscoring for his side with 106.

India paceman Umesh Yadav registered a career-best 6-88 while left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav claimed 3-85.

India won the series-opener in Rajkot by an innings and 272 runs.

Thousands march in Barcelona in rival protests on Spain's national day

Thousands of people flooded the streets of Barcelona on Friday for rival protests on Spain's national day, highlighting the division in Catalonia over support for the Spanish state and those seeking independence.

Chanting the slogan “We are all Spain,” unionist demonstrators waved Spanish, Catalan and European Union flags as they marched through the city centre, an area usually busy with tourists.

The death toll from Hurricane Michael rose to at least 16 on Friday amid fears it would continue to climb as search-and-rescue teams scour the debris of the Florida town that bore the brunt of the monster storm.

“Mexico Beach is devastated,” Florida Governor Rick Scott said of the town where Michael made landfall as a Category 4 storm on Wednesday.

Voting opened Saturday in a by-election that is expected to see charismatic Malaysian politician Anwar Ibrahim win a parliamentary seat and return to active politics as he prepare for his eventual takeover from Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

Anwar was designated the successor to Mahathir, his former foe turned ally, after they set aside a bitter political feud and joined hands to win a stunning victory in May’s general elections. Anwar couldn’t participate in the polls due to a 2015 conviction for sodomy — a charge he alleged was politically motivated — but he was freed after receiving a royal pardon days after the polls.

Britain’s Princess Eugenie married tequila brand ambassador Jack Brooksbank in a star-studded royal wedding on Friday at St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

It was the second wedding extravaganza of the year for the royal family. The 28-year-old bride, the queen’s granddaughter, is ninth in line to the British throne. She wore a long-sleeved gown with a fitted top, a peplum and a long train by British-based designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos and a diamond-and-emerald tiara loaned to her by the queen.
