Doctors, nursing students and volunteers raised awareness in Visakhapatnam on the World Hospice and Palliative care day. Metropolitan Commissioner (MMRDA) P.Basanth Kumar, also participated in the march. The objective of the march was to create awareness around Palliative care and Hospice philosophy. Palliative care is an approach to help people with life-limiting illnesses like cancer through organised health services. The goal is to improve the quality of life of both the patient and their families.
