4 arrested for smuggling sandalwood tree
TNN | Oct 13, 2018, 23:50 ISTUdhagamandalam: The forest department on Saturday arrested four people for smuggling a sandalwood tree from a revenue land near the Accord Estate in Gudalur town area in the Nilgiris and seized the logs from them. They were identified as Lingaraj and Ajeesh of Kodagu in Karnataka, and Sinal Nimid and Ojeer of Gudalur. They were remanded in judicial custody.
