The event will be held at the Corporation Play Ground at T Nagar. Top 18 teams from Tamil Nadu will take part in the tournament.

It will be inaugurated by M Nagarajan, General Manager and President of Indian Bank Central Sports Committee, on October 14.

The matches will be played in league cum knockout basis. The winner, runner-up and third-place holder will receive a combined cash award of Rs 1,00,00. Padmaja Chunduru, MD and CEO of Indian Bank, will distribute the trophies on the final day. 

It is to be noted that the Indian Bank basketball team has won the Federation Cup thrice, which is conducted by the Basketball Federation of India.
