AMRITSAR: Two Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers were injured after they were allegedly attacked in Tarn Taran on Friday. AAP Majha zone in-charge Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal informed that both party volunteers Yadwinder Singh and Gurjit Singh were attacked at Rataul village. They were later admitted to a hospital.

He said police had lodged an FIR, but no arrest had been made so far. Dhaliwal further informed that leader of opposition in Punjab assembly Harpal Singh Cheema was reaching Amritsar to meet them. Cheema would also visit the house of Balwinder Singh, a farmer of Ghonewal village, who had drowned in Ravi river and his body was located from Pakistan.
