Ainslie resident treated for smoke inhalation after laundry fire
An Ainslie resident has been treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire on Friday morning.
ACT Fire and Rescue were called to a house on Salomons Place just after 5am.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze, which was contained to the laundry.
An Emergency Services Agency spokesman said the fire was believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in one of the laundry appliances.
