
SHardul makes his Test debut for India
Team India pacer Shardul Thakur has been handed his Test cap by coach Ravi Shastri in the 2nd Test against West Indies in Hyderabad. The Maharashtra pacer becomes India's 294th capped player.
In the 1st Test against Windies, teenage sensation Prithvi Shaw was also handed his Test debut and he went on to score his maiden Test century on his debut. (IND vs WI 2nd Test Live Scores & Updates)

West Indies won the toss and opted to bat in the second and final Test against India on Friday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.
India rested Mohammed Shami and brought in fellow pacer Thakur.
West Indies made two changes as they left out Keemo Paul and Sherman Lewis. Jomel Warrican and captain Jason Holder, who returned after missing out of the first Test, replaced them.
India are leading 1-0 in the series after wining the first Test at Rajkot.
