ASDS Recognizes Top Skin Cancer Screeners in Choose Skin Health Program

Over 29,000 Skin Cancer Screenings Performed Since 2010

The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), the largest specialty organization representing dermatologic surgeons, today recognized top volunteer skin cancer screeners from across the nation, who collectively provided more than 5,500 free cancer screenings in their communities in the last year. Top screeners were announced at the 2018 ASDS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.

Choose Skin Health, in partnership with Neutrogena, is a year-round program that encourages the public to choose healthy, sun-safe behaviors and offers free skin cancer screenings by ASDS member dermatologists. The program advocates for regular sunscreen use and promotes prevention techniques and self-exams.
