Hyderabad, West Indies 295 for 7 wickets at the end of first day of the second test against India being played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Friday. Recovering after losing five wickets for 113 runs at one stage, the visitors ended the day by losing two more wickets and added 182 more runs at stumps.
India has taken the new ball seven overs after it is due. India have gone 24 overs without taking a wicket of West Indies batsman. This is the longest wait for India for a wicket in this series.
Roston Chase, who struck a fifty in Rajkot, continued his impressive form and scored yet another fifty.He was ably supported by Jason Holder who also made a half century on his return to the side.This is 8th fifty in his International Career, Kuldeep and Umesh Yadav were the pick of the bowlers for India both picking up three wickets each.
Umesh Yadav gave India the breakthrough after Jason Holder and Roston Chase had added more than 100 runs for the seventh wicket.
