MUMBAI: A special court has allowed attachment of five properties partly belonging to preacher and founder of Islamic Research Foundation. In the order on Thursday, the special court said a district collector had been ordered to attach one half undivided share in the properties belonging to Naik. Among the listed properties are a shop measuring 1,360 sq ft at Crystal Residency, Mazgaon. Included are four other flats at buildings, also in Mazgaon. NIA had moved the plea for attachment of properties after he was declared a proclaimed offender on June 15, 2017.

In April 2017, the court issued a non-bailable warrant against Naik.
