How to Prepare for KEAM Entrance Exams

Entrances exams are round the corner. Parents and students are feeling the heat. One of the most important facts the students and parents must realize is that 'ITS NOT THAT TOUGH'. It is simple if you do the basic things right. The following tips will help students to prepare well.

Know the Syllabus clearly

It is based on 11th std and 12th std topics. School going students are preparing for board examinations also

Build a strong base in the subjects

The most important part in preparing for any entrance exam is to focus on the concept part. Students must be thorough with the concepts. Strong base in the subject is very important. Understand the basic concepts thoroughly.

Prepare a Time table

Distribute your time equally for all the topics. Spend more time on topics that are more important -recommended by your teachers.

Study with Interest

Don't study for sake of studying. Please dedicate yourself and study with interest and purpose

If you like a teacher you will like that subject. If you like that subject you will have interest towards it. There are so many books and, online resources available. If anyone wants to learn thoroughly it is very easy than ever before. But make sure that you choose the best resources. Study room must be free from all sorts of distractions. Everything you need must be kept in order so that you don't have to search for any item

Solve question papers

Solve previous year question papers .Keep a timer .Once the time is over start evaluating yourself with the answer key. Find the solution for those questions you don't know. Accuracy is also important as speed.

During the time of revision solve questions from entrance exams conducted by different universities and states.

Best and Most Effective Method is PQT

Prepare questions from each topic as if you are assigned to prepare a question paper. This will really help you a lot if done seriously because you may start to think like the question setter

Practises and Practise

Don't study continuously. You should take a break after 40 to 50 minutes. Do some stretching exercise. After a small activity you could resume studying

Prepare notes

All main formulas and shortcuts in one book. Dedicate one book for each subject. Most important concepts must be written. It will help in revisions too

Teach others

Teaching others is an effective way of learning. Combined Studies will help. But ensure that it is free from all sorts of distractions

Stay Healthy

Eat right food, Drink lot of water, Do exercises regularly, Sound Sleep will help you a lot.


Students should always remember that "The best day is today and best time is now"


There is no substitute to hard work. If you study with interest and goal in mind you are going to be a winner .Don't wait till the last minute to prepare. Time and Tide waits for no man.
