Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences invited the acclaimed painter Ms. Neeta Shrivastava from Jabalpur to impart the nuances of Madhubani Painting to the interested students of the college.
Ms. Shrivastava has many exhibitions to her credit on oil painting and other creative paintings. In the day long workshop, she informed the participants that Madhubani form of painting has its origin at Mithila and gradually it became popular at international pedestal.
This form of painting makes use of bright colours. More than 100 students participated in the workshop and benefitted from the expertise of the resource person.
Ms. Manju Mehta, PRO, BSSS informed that the workshop was much appreciated by the participants and they could learn the intricacies of the art.
