Lucknow: Arms, cartridges in school create panic at Narhai

However, preliminary investigation done by the police claims it to be dummy cartridges used by the National Cadet corps (NCC) 30 years back.

According to the police, around 11 am, education officer of the municipal school Archana Singh during a cleaning drive in the school ahead of Dusshera opened the storeroom and found cartridges and rifles lying in a sac then informed the police.Then a team of the police reached the spot.
Police circle officer (Hazratganj) Abhay Mishra confirmed the recovery of rifles and cartridges. He further added that prima facie it seems to be dummy cartridges used by the NCC for training purposes. “We have informed the basic shiksha adhikari for an inspection and also checking the records of the school in order to know the reality,” said Mishra.
