SSC GD Constable 2018: Application correction window opens; check details @ ssc.nic.in

NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important notice making some corrections in the "One-Time Registration Form" of the application for SSC Constable (GD) Exam 2018 on the official website.

As per the notice posted on the official website, some students have registered their complaint with the SCC for not reflecting their data properly under 'Contact Details' like Permanent & Present Address and their photo, signature, left hand thumb impression (LTI) are not reflecting properly under 'Other Details' in the one-time registration form.

OFFICIAL NOTICE IN REGARD TO MAKING CORRECTION IN THE SSC GD APPLICATION FORM

Reacting on the problem faced by few candidates, the SSC has now activated the link for making corrections. The SSC GD correction window will remain open from October 11 to 18, 2018. After that candidates will not be able to carry out any changes in their application form.

Candidates can carry out desired changes by logging in to the SSC's official website https://ssc.nic.in -> 'Modify Registration'.

The official notice read: "It has come to the notice of the Commission that, in a few cases, the information filled by the candidates under 'Contact Details', comprising Permanent and Present Address and under 'Other Details' comprising Photo, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression (LTI) in the One-Time Registration Form have not been properly reflected in the online Applications submitted by them for the above said examination.

2. Keeping the above in view, the registered candidates of the aforesaid Examination are advised to check the information in their online application form and in case of any discrepancy either in the 'Contact Details' or in 'Other Details' ONLY the same may be corrected by them from 11-10-2018 to 18-10-2018 by logging in to https://ssc.nic.in -> 'Modify Registration'. Candidates will not be allowed to make any changes in these fields after 18-10-2018.

3. No other correction/modification/changes in the online application forms will be allowed.

4. The other terms and conditions of the above Examination Notice will remain unchanged.


The SSC GD 2018 Exam will be held to appoint eligible candidates for the post of constable in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen.

The recruitment process comprises of four stages namely:

a) Physical Standard Test (PST)

b) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

c) Computer based test

d) Medical test.
