TNN | Oct 12, 2018, 12:34 IST
Justice Gautam Patel of the Bombay high court expressed his support for the #MeToo movement on Thursday. The judge was speaking at an event organized by the Indian Merchant Chambers' Ladies Wing. Justice Patel said that the women were naming some powerful persons. The judge cited a sexual harassment case involving American comedienne Bill Cosby where a process of gathering evidence was undertaken. The judge said the process had to be followed similarly if there was to be justice in these cases, where the survivors were naming the accused years after the incident.
