Two killed, six injured in bus accident

The mangled bus after it rammed into a truckRajkot: Two persons were killed and six injured when the state transport bus they were in rammed into the back of a truck in the Maliyasangam locality of Rajkot early on Friday morning.
Police said the accident occurred when the truck braked suddenly while it was in the middle of overtaking another truck. The bus, which was behind the it, rammed into it.
“The bus driver, Navinchandra Makwana (51), and a passenger identified as Narvat Talavi (40), were killed on the spot. Six bus passengers were injured,” said an official of Kuwadava Road police station.
The bus was going from Jhalod and Jamnagar.
