Air India will start direct flights between Bengaluru and London from November 17, 2018. The flag-carrier of India will be deploying its Boeing 787 (Dreamliner) on this route.
The new route will be operated three times a week.

This new service is aimed at providing better connectivity to health tourism and IT professionals in the region.
Additionally, Air India, as a special introductory deal, is offering two-way fare of ₹1,29,500 for business class and ₹35,220 for economy class travel.
Meanwhile, the airline is planning to scrap its fifth freedom flight between London and Newark from November 16, as the route isn’t performing well for the airline.
