Trump signs music copyright legislation

President Donald Trump signed the Music Modernization Act surrounded by legends such as Kid Rock, the Doobie Brothers, and The Beach Boys.

The bipartisan act passed Congress unanimously last month.

It addresses a number of issues, raising payments to artists for pre-1972 recordings as well as compensation from streaming services.

They discussed prison reform, crime surge in Chicago, and creating jobs for African-Americans.
