Cape Town - Bafana Bafana utility player Aubrey Modiba has warned Stuart Baxter's side to remain focused ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Seychelles.

The 23-year-old admits that South Africa will have to dig deep to collect all six points in the back-to-back matches against the Islanders, who are at the bottom of Group E.

Despite dropping points against Libya in the last match, the SuperSport United midfielder believes Bafana Bafana are on the right track to qualify and there is no need to press the panic button.

“Right now, we do not have to press the panic buttons because (the) group leaders (Libya) are on four points and we are on four points as well,” Modiba told SABC.

“I think we just have to win our home games and do well on away games as well. If we win all our home games, I think we have a good chance of qualifying.

“You never know what will happen and we just have to collect the points because you can't say we already have six points on Seychelles when we haven't yet played them.”
