Pinjra Tod stages protest demanding colleges remove curfews for women students

Tod, a students' collective, staged a protest Wednesday asking all the colleges of University to have no curfews for women students.

Members of the group marched through all colleges of to give a strong message to the administration that "we are not going to stop until our demands are met", they said.

"We entered Stephens, Hindu, Ramjas, DRC, Miranda and Khalsa. The Miranda House principal was pressured to come out and speak to the students who had stormed through the front gate," they claimed.

They said Jolly agreed to put out a notice in the saying wardens are not allowed to call up parents without a student's consent, they will not make sexist comments and there will be no on delivery.
