Cyclone Titli causes rainfall in Jharkhand

Impact of the cyclone Titli, which made landfall between and Odisha early on Thursday, has also been felt in where some districts experienced rains since early morning.

The rainfall has taken place in Ranchi, and other bordering parts of Odisha.

According to Met Department officials, the mercury dropped by three to five degrees Celsius in the state.

The Met Department has issued alert of moderate to heavy rainfall in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Seraikela, West Singhbhum, Khuti and some other districts.

The rainfall could spread to six districts in the Santhal Pargana region, including Deoghar, Pakur and Godda. The office has predicted 60-120 mm rainfall on Friday in the districts given above.
