Delhi Minister Kailash Gahlot
Income Tax Department (ITD) on Wednesday raided 16 locations of Delhi Minister Kailash Gahlot in Delhi and Gurugram. IT raids are being done in connection with an alleged tax evasion case, officials said.
A team of about 30 ITD sleuths are conducting raids.
The searches are being conducted as part of a tax evasion probe against two construction firms linked to the minister and others, the officials said.
Gahlot is a member of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi and represents Najafgarh constituency. He is a member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
