Vikas Bahl kicked out of Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Super 30’

Earlier we reported of Queen director Vikas Bahl being accused of sexual harassment. Recently he had been roped in to helm the prestigious Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30 which is based on mathematician Anand Kumar. However, as the allegations have surfaced, he has been kicked out from the project.

According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, scrapping the film produced by the recently-dissolved Phantom Films, is not an option. A source revealed, “There is too much stake at stake, too many careers, including Hrithik Roshan’s, depend on this film. Super 30 is not just about Vikas Bahl. A dream can’t be demolished just because one of its components has gone bad. That bad part just has to be amputated. Phantom and Reliance Entertainment are joint-producers, so Phantom alone cannot take a call. But yes, they are going to delete Vikas’ name from the credits of Super 30.”

Apparently Vikas Bahl was signed to direct it after the original director, Anurag Basu, dropped out. And it’s not just the film, but Amazon Prime Video has reportedly dropped Bahl from a show he was to direct for the company as well.
