NEW DELHI: Zee Entertainment on Wednesday reported 38.2 per cent drop in consolidated profit at Rs 386.70 crore for September quarter, which was in line with Rs 391 crore profit estimated by analysts in an ET NOW poll.
The company had reported a profit of Rs 625.50 crore in the same quarter last year.
Total revenue from the operations rose 24.9 per cent to Rs 19,75.90 crore led by its domestic broadcast business.
Advertising revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 1,210.60 crore, up 22.7 per cent YoY.
Domestic advertising revenue was up 23.3 per cent YoY at Rs 1,152.60 crore.
International advertising revenue for the quarter was at Rs 58 crore, the company said in a BSE filing.
Subscription revenue for the quarter rose 21.3 per cent to Rs 608 crore . Domestic subscription revenue rose 26 per cent YoY to Rs 509.30 crore.
Ebitda for the quarter jumped 37.6 per cent to Rs 675.70 crore while Ebitda margin for the quarter came in at 34.2 per cent. The company commanded an all-India viewership share of 19.9 per cent .
