Red-hot England will take on struggling Sri Lanka in 5-match ODI series. England team recently whitewashed Australia 5-0 and beat India 2-1. The team is in great form and would look to carry their momentum and pile pressure on the hosts who have been under performing for quite some time now. Looking at last few months performance, England are favourite to win despite their poor record on the island soil.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka would be in tremendous pressure especially after their debacle in Asia Cup, losing against Bangladesh and Afghanistan. However, they will be led by new skipper Dinesh Chandimal and will miss Angelo Mathews who is in poor form. However, familiar pitch and conditions will give them a fair chance of win against an in-form English side. Here are the probable dream XI prediction for Sri Lanka and England:

FPJs dream XI prediction: Dinesh Chandimal, Upul Tharanga, Johny Bairstow, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Thisara Perera, Moeen Ali, Akhila Dananjaya, Lasith Malinga, Liam Plunkett and Adil Rashid.
