₹10 lakh loans promised to self-help groups

BJP State president K. Laxman promised waiver of ₹ 2 lakh crop loans of farmers if the party attains power in the State.

Stating that they would make agricultural most viable by providing several sops to the farm sector, he also promised a bonus to all the farm produce along with the increased MSP by the Central government.

Addressing an impressive public meeting called “Samarabheri”, to kick off electioneering in the State, here on Wednesday, he said that they would waive all the interests of pavalavaddi loans to the women SHGs in the State and promised loans to the tune of ₹10 lakh per group. He also promised to take up mega DSC recruitment and fill up over one lakh jobs.

He alleged that the TRS government was plagued by 3Cs — Contractors, Corruption and Commissions — and added that Narendra Modi government was performing with 3Ds — Development, Dynamism and Decision-making.

Charging that the Congress and TRS had colluded with the MIM, he dared the MIM party to field its candidate from the Karimnagar Assembly segment. BJP national general secretary P. Muralidhar Rao noted that the TRS would not attain power in the State and the Congress was only making vain attempts to win elections across the country since 2014.

BJP leader G. Kishan Reddy launched a scathing attack against TRS president and caretaker chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for failing to discharge his duties from the Secretariat. Union Health Minister JP Nadda, party leader and film star Babu Mohan, district president K. Srinivas Reddy and others were present.
