World postal day celebrated at BCM School Basant Avenue Dugri

Letter writing is the only device for combing solitude with good company
Ludhiana, October 9, 2018: In recent time when e-mail and SMS have somewhat replaced the conventional system of letters and post card the BCMities took an initiatives to enliven this medium of interpersonal communication. On October 9, 2018 which is celebrated as ‘World Postal Day’ the students of class IV created a Postal Museum. They presented beautiful handmade card as souvenir to the Post Master. They also show cased their creative flair by depicting the journey of a letter from pigeon to snap chat. The School Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi said that such kind of celebrations aim at reconnecting the future to the living heritage: The Indian Postal System and indeed, a great step to revive the fallen glory of the postal department.
