Pro Kabaddi League Season 6 facing venue hurdles all across the country

CHENNAI: The Pro Kabaddi League - the franchisee-based kabaddi tournament which has seen very successful five seasons is facing a series of hurdles as regards to venues in Season 6.

First, the league which was supposed to start on October 5 was advanced to October 7 supposedly due to logistic reasons at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai.

Now Jaipur leg, which was to be played at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur from December 14 to 20 is relocated to Tau Devilal Sports Complex, Panchkula in Haryana.

BENGALURU WOES
In Season 5, Bengaluru Bulls, who played their home leg at Nagpur will move their base to another city for Season 6 as well. The venue is yet to be confirmed though.

And, play-offs which were to be played in Kochi and Mumbai might be shifted to other cities. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator 1 will be held on December 30-31 and Eliminator 2 and Final is scheduled to take place on January 3 and 5.

The official website of Pro Kabaddi League, which showed venues as Kochi and Mumbai for Playoff’s as per the original schedule, has now been changed to TBD (To Be Decided).
