Travancore Dewaswom board members K.Raghavan and K.P.Sankaradas, C.K.Hareendran, MLA, Kerala police officials and others welcomed the procession of the Navarathri idols from the Padmanabhapuram Palace at Kaliyakkivila here on Monday. The idols of Goddess Saraswathi from Padmanabhapuram Thevarakkett, the idol of Kumaraswamy from Velimalai Murugan Temple and the idol of Munnuttinanga from Sthanumalayan Temple in Suchindram will be welcomed in front of the Navarathri mandapam on Tuesday. The sword and the Saraswathi idol will be kept at the Navarathri mandapam. The Kumaraswamy idol will be kept at the Aryasala Devi Temple and the Munnittinanga at the Chenthitta Bhagavathy temple for pooja.
