Refreshed Fiat 500X On Sale In The UK From £16,995

Fiat’s latest 500X is now more modern and functional than ever before, boasting new comfort and safety features, as well as a refreshed exterior with LED lighting units front and rear.

UK customers can choose between three trim levels in Urban, City Cross and Cross Plus, three petrol engines, including two new turbo units, and can also enjoy a host of safety assistance systems as standard across the range. Prices start from £16,995.

The entry-level sticker is for the 500X Urban 1.6 110 PS (108 HP) model, which comes with front-wheel drive and a manual transmission, plus Start & Stop functionality as standard. Those who want improved straight line performance can opt for either the 1.0-liter power unit with 120 PS (118 HP) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque or the 1.3-liter one with 150 PS (148 HP) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque.

All models come standard with Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Assist and Lane Assist, while the likes of Blind Spot Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and City Brake Control can be had as optional extras. Also standard is the Uconnect 7-inch HD Live touchscreen display, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Other features that come at no extra cost (on the entry-level Urban model) include the LED DRL and rear lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, Techno-leather steering wheel, the previously-mentioned infotainment system, manual air conditioning, cruise control and the electronic parking brake. Move up in the range to the City Cross (from £18,995) and you gain 17-inch alloys, satin chrome inserts and body-colored door mirrors, front fog lights, 3.5-inch color TFT monitor, automatic climate control and rear parking sensors.

Finally, the flagship Cross Plus spec (from £20,995) offers LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof bars and dark tinted rear windows on the outside, whereas the cabin features the Parkview rear parking camera, dusk sensor and a front armrest.

Also, if you’d rather have the DCT automatic version of the City Cross or Cross Plus specs, that will cost you upwards of £21,195 and £23,195 respectively.
