President Trump’s former campaign advisor, Rick Gates, apparently looked into proposals from an Israeli company in 2016 in order to create fake online identities.

????The New York Times says he would have used social media manipulation to get information and help defeat Trump’s opponents.

????Gates was linked to a proposal by Psy-Group, staffed by former Israeli intelligence officers that would use fake identities to sway 5,000 RNC delegates by attacking Senator Ted Cruz.

????Times reporter Mark Mazzetti told CNN, “So you build a profile and use these avatars, bots, et cetera to spread messages, to try to influence their votes, to try to make sure that they stay on the Trump side.” ????Another proposal by the company apparently offered opposition research about Hillary Clinton and her allies.

????And Psy-Group’s Owner, Joel Zamel, seems to have met with Donald Trump Jr at Trump Tower in August 2016.

????Although there seems to be no evidence that the Trump campaign actually went through with the proposals.

????Gates plead guilty to charges of Conspiracy against the United States and making false statements to the FBI in Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
