Provide security for Rs 50 lakh or face action: HC to Tamil actor

The Tuesday made it clear that the properties of would be attached if he fails to provide security for Rs 50 lakh, which he received from a production house, by October 31.

Justice M Govindaraj said the court had earlier directed the actor to furnish security for Rs 85.50 lakh.

Following the counsel's submission, it has been modified to Rs 50 lakh and the actor should provide security for this amount on or before October 31, the said.

"In default, the properties mentioned in the suit schedule will stand attached," Justice Govindaraj said and posted the matter for October 31.
