According to the data shared by the analytics firm, as of October 7 till 1.30PM UTC (7PM in India), 51.98 percent of the iPhone and iPad devices that support the latest OS have installed iOS 12. Over 41 percent (41.22%) of these devices are still running on iOS 11 and the rest 6.80 percent are using iOS 10 or older. Mixpanel claims that its report was generated from “294,263,139,106 records.” During its Gather Round launch event, the company announced that all the iPhones till iPhone 5s, and all the iPads dating iPad mini 2 will support iOS 12. Apple’s iOS 12 had been in beta mode since June, the final version of which is now available to all. It brings a host of new features, but the key area of focus is performance.
