Finance Minister Malaiya performs bhoomi-pujan of bus stand
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Finance Minister Jayant Malaiya said that business activities will get a boost with the construction of a modern bus stand worth Rs 34 crores in Damoh.
All essential facilities will be made available to citizens in the bus stand. The Finance Minister performed bhoomi-pujan for the bus stand.
The modern bus stand will be based on PPP model and there will be parking facility for nearly 300 buses in the stand.
Malaiya said that in the coming days, Damoh will leave Punjab behind in the field of agriculture. Work is in progress at a rapid pace in Pancham Nagar, Satdharu, Sita Nagar and Sajli irrigation schemes.
The Jujharghat drinking water scheme of Damoh city has almost been completed. Drinking water pipelines are being laid in the city at a cost of Rs 27 crores. He said that the Astroturf Stadium will be dedicated in Damoh on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
All modern facilities will be given to youth at the stadium. He urged the citizens for active participation in the cleanliness campaign in the city.
