NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) State Eligibility Test Cell has released the official notification for State Eligibility Test (SET) 2018.

The SET is an eligibility test conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Professor in the state.

The online application process for Madhya Pradesh SET 2018 will commence on October 11, 2018. The SET 2018 exam will be held for 19 different subjects.

MP SET 2018: Important Dates

• Start of application forms: October 11, 2018
• Last date to apply: November 11, 2018
• Form correction: October 14, 2018 to November 14, 2018

The candidates who have completed Master's degree in a relevant subject (55% marks for General category and 50% for reserved category) or are in the last year/semester of Master's degree are eligible to apply for the SET 2018 examination.

The MP SET 2018 exam will have two papers. Paper 1 would be compulsory and will cover topics like general awareness, teaching and research aptitude. The Paper 1 would comprise of 50 objective type questions. The total duration of the Paper 1 would be 60 minutes.

Paper 2 of the SET exam will be subject-specific. The Paper 2 will have a total of 100 objective type questions and each question will carry 2 marks. The total duration of Paper 2 is 120 minutes.
