Bijnor: A major incident was averted as the Mount Everest conqueror Bachendri Pal’s boat was reported missing in river Ganga in Bijnor. She, however, was traced after few hours.
Pal, who launched Swachh Bharat campaign from the Ganga ghat in Uttarakhand along with 40-member team, lost her connection from her people in Bijnor.
Her boat got stuck on a sandbar, leaving her stranded for around five hours.
