Krishna district marine police conduct exposure programme

The Krishna district marine police on Monday allowed the school students and local communities to understand the marine security operations and equipment being used to guard the coast. The team of marine officials led by Circle Inspector C.H.V. Murali Krishna invited at least 70 school students to witness the existing communication technologies and strategies being adopted by the State marine police to keep an eye on the marine security.

The one-day exposure programme was conducted on the Palakayatippa marine police station campus, where demonstration on the marine security operations was conducted. Mr. Murali Krishna and Sub-Inspector Jilani demonstrated the equipment including biometric card readers that trace the license status of the boat operators on the sea, Oscar lamp and Very High Frequency set for communication during the calamities and security operations. The students representing schools in Koduru mandal celebrated the exposure tour that enabled them to understand the role of the marine police on the Krishna coastline.

Awareness rally

The Marine police have taken out a rally in the Palakayatippa village, appealing them to share information if they found any suspected persons on the sea.

Interactive meet

The police interacted with the villagers, explaining the need for support from the local communities in guarding the coastal belt to prevent the entry of any miscreants.
