The Abu Dhabi Police open tourism police office at Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum

Louvre Abu Dhabi MuseumThe Police Administration of Abu Dhabi has set up a tourism police office at the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, declared authorities on Sunday.

 
The Abu Dhabi Police stated that the tourism police office targets to maintain a safe environment for the visitors as well as residents coming to the museum.

 
The introduction of the office was set to increase the police presence as well as usher peace of mind to its visitors, said the Abu Dhabi Police.

 
The tourism police officer at Louvre Abu Dhabi will be offering wide range of policing services in different languages, including communicating with authorities, notifying tourists in terms of laws and regulations, protecting events at the museum and raising awareness in terms of security in the museum’s premises.

 
Col Omran Ahmed Al Mazrouei, acting director of the criminal investigations directorate of the criminal security sector, stated that setting up of the office is part of modernization and developmental efforts that shows the cultural image of the Abu Dhabi Police. On September, the Abu Dhabi Police opened a Tourism Police Office at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
